We have a new digital x-ray system that is very unique and on the cutting edge of dental technology. The Planmeca Promax 3 allows our office to take fully diagnostic x-ray series and check up x-ray images without, in most cases, the need of placing any sensor or film inside the mouth. This is much more comfortable for our patients and exposes our patients to 80% LESS radiation than conventional methods.

Dr. Dubowsky with Ethiopian children at the DVI clinic
Dr.Scott Dubowsky just returned from volunteering for his 5th visit to Israel to treat indigent children at the DVI Clinic in Jerusalem. The DVI clinic, founded by Holocaust survivor Trudi Birger, is the only non-sectarian, free dental clinic in the Middle East. Dr. Dubowsky was able to treat many children during his stay in the up to date facility that is entirely maintained through generous donations. Dr Dubowsky received the International ADA Service Award. The American Dental Association announced that Dr. Scott Dubowsky is a recipient of the International Service Award, given annually to those dentists who have demonstrated consistent international volunteerism. Dr. Dubowsky has traveled annually at his own expense to treat the indigent children of Jerusalem of all faiths and backgrounds.
